You will perform as a staff pharmacist within the sterile environment, prepare and distribute medications, evaluate and verify orders, assist providers, act as a medication information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Kentucky and/or Indiana license in good standing.
• Two years of hospital experience in sterile compounding required.
• Active Board Certification in Compounded Sterile Preparations Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire sterile and hazardous compounding process, ensuring QA goals are met and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and perform competencies for staff in sterile and hazardous compounding; maintain records and monitor QA program.
• Serve as a staff pharmacist within the sterile compounding environment; prepare and distribute medications; evaluate, input and verify orders; assist providers and health care professionals as a medication information resource.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to support safe and effective patient care.
