Job summary

Expion Health seeks a Data Analyst, Pharmacy Analytics to be the trusted source behind pharmacy data, reports, and dashboards used by Clinical, Client Operations, and Analytics teams. You will pull and validate claims data, maintain recurring reports, and support ad hoc questions.

In this role, you’ll work with Snowflake and SQL, monitor trends, ensure data quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver clear, reliable insights in a fast-paced environment. Fully remote across the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytics in pharmacy PBM or health plan setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, lookups, and pivots.
• Working knowledge of SQL to read, modify, and troubleshoot queries.
• Ability to perform quality control and validate analytical work.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn automation or AI-assisted tools while validating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Pull and validate pharmacy claims and related data using Snowflake and SQL.
• Build, maintain, and enhance recurring reports and dashboards; troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor utilization, cost, rebate yield, and drug trend data.
• QC outputs, reconcile totals, and investigate discrepancies.
• Support ad hoc analyses for clinical, formulary, or business changes.
• Manage routine Medi-Span reporting and file distribution.
• Document reports and processes; communicate findings to requestors.
