Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Account Executive to lead strategic relationships with PBM clients within the Aetna Business Unit. You will drive renewal, retention and up-sell opportunities, coordinating with account management, clinical and operations teams to deliver value.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to develop client solutions, present quarterly reports on drug trends and cost savings, and manage RFP responses while traveling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cumulative Account Management or equivalent client-facing experience in healthcare.
• Experience in pharmacy or PBM industry preferred.
• Experience managing employer group or health plan accounts.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic account team (including account management, clinical, and operations) as the quarterback with ownership for client satisfaction and service delivery.
• Develop strong internal and client relationships through proactive interactions and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams including medical, account management, clinical, product, operations, and underwriting.
• Utilize consultative selling to recommend CVS Health solutions to meet client needs and influence upsell opportunities.
• Develop and deliver quarterly and annual reporting to clients on drug trends, financial performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Formulate responses to RFPs with underwriting, networks, operations, and legal.
• Execute client renewals by building relationships with key stakeholders and guiding design of pharmacy benefit plans.
