Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Patient Safety Operations to join our team remotely in the United States. You will lead Patient Safety staff, ensure quality and timelines, manage budgets and client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in pharmacovigilance processes.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical safety knowledge, PV operations experience, and proven leadership. Strong communication and collaboration across functions are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Science, or health-related field.
• People management experience.
• Experience working with clients.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance operations and clinical research methodologies.
• ICH, CIOMS, GVP familiarity and safety requirements.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Automation and AI awareness in pharmacovigilance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Patient Safety staff, budget and staffing with leaders.
• Coach and develop team, conduct appraisals and training.
• Ensure work meets SLAs and KPIs for quality and compliance.
• Provide functional safety process expertise and respond to inquiries.
• Support audits, inspections, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Lead pharmacovigilance automation tool implementations and process improvements.
• Communicate with clients and provide periodic updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage project budgets and resources.
