Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Patient Safety Operations to lead Pharmacovigilance operations in a remote-capacity role. You will supervise staff, ensure quality and timelines, and coordinate with clients to address questions and escalations.

You will drive process improvements, maintain regulatory knowledge, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality safety services for clinical research and patient protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance operations and clinical research methodologies.
• Experience leading teams and coaching staff.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Understanding of ICH, CIOMS, GVP, and basic pharmacovigilance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Patient Safety staff, delegate work and coordinate staffing with leaders.
• Provide coaching, development plans, and performance reviews.
• Ensure work meets SLAs and KPIs for quality and training.
• Oversee safety processes, respond to queries, and support urgent workloads.
• Lead process improvements and adoption of automation and digital solutions.
