Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license.
• 3+ years as a practicing Pharmacist or ASHP-accredited residency in managed care, ambulatory care or specialty pharmacy.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting pharmacy claims data, cost drivers and trends.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to travel locally, up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly activities, summarize outcomes and detail actionable items from activities.
• Engage top prescribers through face-to-face visits, telephonic outreach, and mail/fax to share feedback on prescribing patterns.
• Review prescriber-specific opportunities to improve care for members.
• Develop and manage the client relationship with health plan partners through effective communication and drug expertise.
• Promote national practice guidelines for clinical effectiveness and safety.
• Develop reports comparing prescribing practices and outcomes.
• Analyze data to track program impact and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA.
