UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Academic Detailer Pharmacist to independently engage community physicians and medical group administrators in educational activities. The role aims to improve adherence to evidence-based guidelines, support medication adherence, and promote cost-effective prescribing, with remote work across the U.S.

The position requires a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, an active pharmacist license, and 3+ years of practice or residency in relevant areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD; current and unrestricted Pharmacist license.
• Remote work capability and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Experience analyzing pharmacy claims data, cost drivers and trends; measure outcomes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Plan weekly activities and summarize outcomes.
• Engage prescribers via visits, telephonic outreach and correspondence to influence prescribing patterns.
• Develop and manage relationships with health plan partners and providers.
• Provide monthly progress updates and annual activity presentations.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies.
