Based in West Palm Beach or fully remote for qualified candidates, you will navigate local and state portals, coordinate with multiple departments, and keep applications moving toward speedy approvals.

Ideal candidates have Florida permitting experience and a proven track record in fast‑paced, multi‑jurisdiction environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Florida permitting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Comfort with high-volume permitting environments for varied projects.
• Familiarity with municipal and county permitting portals and processes.
• Strong knowledge of local and state permitting guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track a high volume of permit applications weekly.
• Manage submittals through Florida building department portals.
• Review permit requirements for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Respond to comments and corrections to move apps toward approval.
• Maintain detailed records of permits and related docs.
• Communicate with municipal agencies to resolve permitting issues.
• Assist project managers and clients in navigating permitting.
• Coordinate docs and plans for complete, first-pass submittals.
