Job summary

CCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Permit Specialist to research, prepare, submit, and track permits across projects.

You will coordinate with agencies, utilities, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate applications, on-time reviews, and approvals, while supporting workflow management, SLA compliance, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include data entry, permit research, lifecycle tracking, report creation, and ensuring proper billable allocations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of right-of-way permitting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years cable engineering support experience.
• Experience using GIS programs such as QIS and ArcGIS.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to update/create PDF maps for permits using Bluebeam, Nitro or PDF editor.

Responsibilities

• Enter incoming work from multiple sources into databases accurately and on time.
• Research permitting requirements with agencies, utilities, stakeholders, and clients.
• Manage full lifecycle of permit acquisition and tracking across projects.
• Maintain status updates on permits and related project documentation.
• Process subcontractor invoices and ensure timely fee payments for permits.
