Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience leading and coaching a team for at least 1 year.
• Ability to pass and maintain eligibility for a 6C Level Public Trust investigation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain borrower accounts within the Perkins Loan portfolio.
• Review payment activity, interest accrual, deferment, forbearance, cancellation, and default status.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, misapplied payments, and balance inconsistencies.
• Coordinate account updates with third-party servicers and collection agencies.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliation of the Perkins Loan servicing system to the institution’s general ledger.
• Prepare portfolio reports including outstanding principal and interest, delinquency and default aging, cash activity.
• Support year-end financial reporting and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Perkins Loan Program regulations and institutional policies.
• Monitor due diligence requirements for billing, collections, and default prevention.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
