Reporting to the Behavioral Health Lead, you will conduct risk assessments, collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, care coordinators, and therapists, and develop individualized care plans while

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license
• 4+ years experience in hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations
• Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing or perinatal mental health

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on urgency and severity of mental health conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including obstetricians, APPs, nurses, care coordinators and therapists
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients considering their unique needs
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about perinatal mental health and treatment options
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Advocate for patients' rights and ensure care respects autonomy and dignity
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on perinatal mental health best practices
