Within six months you can reach Senior Performance Video Editor with full creative autonomy, reviewing peers, shaping how others edit, and driving winners that scale budgets. Collaboration with the Content Lead is daily.

Qualifications

• Strong recent portfolio of short-form video edits (20+ from the last few months).
• Ability to dissect a winning ad and explain why it performed.
• Hands-on experience across formats: hook-led videos, talking heads, voiceovers, UGC, AI video.
• Ability to read metrics (hook rate, retention, watch time, spend) and know what to change next.

Responsibilities

• Concept and edit short-form video ads for TikTok, Reels, and Meta, built around hook rate, retention, and watch time rather than aesthetics.
• Develop new video angles and hooks, then test them against proven formats.
• Build AI-assisted video creatives using current tools, and keep pace as those tools change.
• Review your past edits daily, identify what's working and what isn't, and improve without repeating mistakes.
• Work directly from paid performance data to decide what to cut next.
• Turn around content quickly and communicate proactively every day, with no check-ins required.
• Stay on top of TikTok and Instagram trends and apply them where they'll actually convert.
