Job summary

Uproot Clean is seeking a Performance Video Editor to turn raw footage into thumb-stopping ads for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok, driving high-converting creative. This is a fully remote, full-time role with growth opportunities in a fast-growing DTC brand.

You will transform scripts and creator content into compelling narratives, manage assets in Frame.io, and collaborate across marketing to optimize performance based on real results.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of video editing experience focusing on short-form content.
• Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency is required.
• Proven experience editing direct-response ads for ecommerce or DTC.
• Strong typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Portfolio required; practical editing assessment will be used.
• Self-managed with excellent time management and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback to improve workflows and team processes.

Responsibilities

• Create high-performing Facebook/Instagram ad creatives and social clips.
• Edit short-form content optimized for platform formats.
• Source and organize B-roll and stock footage.
• Manage creator content in Frame.io and maintain asset libraries.
• Translate scripts into compelling visual stories with hooks, pacing, re-hooks, and performance editing techniques.
• Track assignments and deadlines in project management tools and communicate timelines clearly.
• Proactively suggest improvements to editing workflows and team processes.
