Blacksmith Agency is expanding its marketing team and seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to own strategy, performance and leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization.

This senior role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, joining sales calls, guiding internal and external specialists, and building growth roadmaps to deliver measurable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading PPC and SEO client campaigns.
• Ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Proven track record managing delivery quality.
• Strong analytical capability to diagnose issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across multiple industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit PPC campaigns, keyword strategies, bidding structures, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, conversion attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Coordinate priorities with the marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
