Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a remote PeopleSoft Financials Developer for a contract-to-hire engagement. The role focuses on designing, building, and supporting enterprise financial systems, including REST services via Integration Broker and advanced SQL reporting.

You will own unit testing, documentation, deployment plans, and production support, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring peers while embracing modern tools and AI-driven solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of development experience in PeopleSoft Financials modules: AP, GL, AR, and Purchasing.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM Payroll for North America and Benefits is a plus.
• Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with Integration Broker REST API web services and RESTful design.
• SSRS report development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with SDLC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML/XSLT.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and development of specifications and review prepared programming specifications.
• Develop detailed system designs and review approved system designs with the project team.
• Develop application code and review code that requires modification.
• Develop and coordinate technical implementation plans.
• Unit test application code and assist with system testing.
• Prepare and update all necessary documentation.
• Perform implementation activities.
• Provide production support including on-call rotation and technical assistance to end users and IT staff.
• Review schedules, objectives, and priorities with the service manager.
• Initiate suggestions for improvement to systems and procedures.
• Assist with routine work of the department as required.
