Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Peoplesoft Developer for a remote, permanent role. You will design, develop, test, implement, document, and support enterprise systems with a focus on integrations, reporting, security, and operational metrics.

You will lead small projects, mentor teammates, and ensure quality through clear requirements and thorough documentation. The position requires 8+ years in enterprise systems programming, 8+ years in SQL, 4+ years ERP, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise systems programming experience.
• 8+ years SQL database experience and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• 4+ years ERP experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and build consensus.
• Advanced problem-solving ability using creativity, experience, and multiple information sources.
• Advanced communication skills for complex or difficult information.
• Web design, HTML, and CSS.
• ANSI SQL.
• Multi-tier application experience.
• PeopleSoft.
• Preferred: Java or C#; GL, AP, AM, PO, TE modules; SQL Server, Oracle, OneStream, Markit, Workday, ServiceNow, Hyland OnBase; insurance or reinsurance industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources and develop detailed work plans.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define business requirements and lead user acceptance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations with requirements, technical design docs, and test plans.
• Manage up to four employees for a project or system; coach and mentor the team and maintain performance.
• Create documentation and lead architecture reviews.
• Develop estimates and capacity plans for support and projects.
• Manage operational efficiency scorecards for supported systems.
• Collaborate with vendors on multi-year roadmaps for continuous quality improvements.
• Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.
• Recommend improvements and apply standards and procedures for enterprise systems.
