Remote People Partner — HR Ops & Programs Lead

Job summary

Fluxon is hiring a People Partner for a fully remote North America role, including Canada, with a focus on building scalable HR processes and programs. You will coordinate onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and performance cycles, partnering with teams across the region.

You will work in a fast-growing People Ops function, empowering employees and driving a positive, compliant experience. This is a hands-on, individual contributor position reporting to the NA People Partner.

Qualifications

• Have at least 4 years of experience in People Operations or HR, with meaningful time spent designing and running programs.
• Have taken programs from 0 to 1 - and can speak to what worked, what didn't, and what you'd do differently.
• Know how to work cross-functionally - you build in partnership, not in a silo, and you know how to bring stakeholders along.
• Excel at thoughtful execution - You ask questions, do research, and take the time to build a strong foundation before diving into the tactical steps.
• Are experience oriented - You recognize that details are important, and prioritize what will make the greatest impact on the experience of our team

Responsibilities

• Own or support the execution of core HR processes, so employees have a consistent experience throughout their time at Fluxon
• Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for employees across our team, answering day-to-day questions, solving what you can, and routing what you can’t to the right person
• Support the roll out of various people programs and initiatives
• Stay flexible - we're always growing and changing at Fluxon, and there will be project potential we haven't even thought of yet!
• Help coordinate and execute employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding, etc.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and 401(k) contributions accurately and on time
• Assist with the logistics of performance review cycles, and other recurring people programs
• Support compliance essentials (I-9s, state registrations, leave paperwork, etc.)
