NeuroNav is a remote-friendly, part-time opportunity for a People Operations Manager in the United States. You’ll be the HR expert who keeps payroll, compliance, and our people systems running, and you’ll help bring our culture to life through the rituals and moments that keep our team excited to stay.

You’ll partner with our part-time Recruiter, manage onboarding and offboarding, oversee IT support, and shape fair, well-documented compensation programs as we grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HR or people operations experience
• Working knowledge of US and California employment compliance and payroll, including state tax notices and filings
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (Gusto or similar)
• Comfort administering SaaS tools and working with vendors such as Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, and Notion
• Experience with compensation benchmarking and leveling
• Experience managing, mentoring, or coordinating the work of others

Responsabilités

• HR Operations, Payroll & Compliance: bring HR best practices to policies and processes
• Onboarding & Offboarding: manage offer letters, onboarding in Gusto, and seamless handoff from accepted offers
• IT & Systems Oversight: oversee outsourced IT, access controls, software subscriptions, and device inventory
• Culture, Engagement & Retention: plan offsites, town halls, morale-building moments
• Compensation & People Programs: benchmark compensation, support leveling and docs, run performance reviews
• Team Leadership & Operations: coach Recruiter, align hiring with onboarding, contribute to HR tooling
