Job summary

Snohomish County is seeking a People Analytics Specialist project position to backfill and support during our ERP implementation. This opportunity is open to current Snohomish County employees only.

The role provides functional support, analysis, and implementation of HRIS, HR technology, and analytics needs, including developing reports and dashboards and training materials for HR staff.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or related field; AND two (2) years experience in functional analysis, business analysis and software administration/implementation; OR, any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• Must pass job related tests.
• Experience with HRIS and other HR systems preferred; SharePoint site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the implementation and use of HRIS including configuration, customization and administration of major HR systems.
• Collaborates with DoIT for daily maintenance and support of HR systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Recommends and implements procedural changes to improve operations and HR systems performance.
• Tests HRIS updates and troubleshoots releases prior to full implementation.
• Performs data problem analysis and identifies user errors or gaps in procedures.
• Provides application support to department staff and projects.
• Develops training materials and ad hoc reporting for HR users.
• Performs people analytics through HRIS reports and dashboards to meet requirements.
• Coordinates with DoIT to manage contracts with consultants and vendors.
• Oversees the department's website and related documentation.
