Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Seven or more years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Active bar membership in good standing; California admission is required.

Responsibilities

• Handling administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation matters in state and federal court and arbitration.
• Developing case strategy and drafting/reviewing pleadings and motions.
• Conducting and defending depositions; representing clients in hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials/arbitrations.
• Supervising and mentoring attorneys and legal staff; coordinating with partners and support teams.
• Maintaining proactive communication with the PEO client, its customers, and the insurance carrier.
