Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a Peer Support Specialist I to provide recovery training and peer support at Crisis Outpatient sites across New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties in Delaware. You will advocate for participants, teach recovery tools, and help build life skills within a supportive recovery environment.

Requirements include completion of Peer Employment Training with certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to work across multiple shifts including weekdays, weeknights

Qualifications

Peer Employment Training and Peer Support Specialist certification required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with recovery tools and peer support preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide peer support to engage individuals in a recovery partnership.
Teach recovery and life skills using recovery tools.
Model hope, responsibility and self-advocacy to support recovery goals.
Coordinate with clinical teams to arrange services and resources.
Complete clinical documentation and adhere to policies.
