Job summary

Bluebird Kids Health in West Palm Beach is seeking a dedicated Triage Nurse to join the CARES Center, delivering telephonic triage and care coordination for pediatric patients. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support families with timely access to appropriate care and collaborate with the practice operations team to ensure smooth clinical workflows.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Florida LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Pediatric population experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric Telephone Triage: Provide telephonic triage services and escalate as needed per protocols.
• Care Coordination: Respond to inquiries and coordinate patient appointments and education.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate EHR documentation of all patient interactions.
• Clinical Support: Assist with medications, tests, and procedures during visits.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to HIPAA and healthcare standards to ensure safety.
