Job summary

Atrius Health is seeking an After Hours Registered Nurse in Pediatrics to support remote care delivery from Boston, MA. You will build relationships with patients and families, follow RN protocols, and manage care transitions, including medication administration and chronic disease management.

This role requires a State-approved nursing graduate, MA RN license, BLS, and 2+ years of pediatric RN experience. It offers 8 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday, within Atrius Health's

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Massachusetts RN license (unrestricted) & BLS certification.
• 2+ years pediatric RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and families, providing education and managing care transitions.
• Deliver patient care and follow-up in alignment with RN protocols, including medication administration and chronic disease management.
• Conduct telephone triage, escalate concerns appropriately, and support the clinical team with ongoing care coordination.
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions during patient visits, ensuring timely documentation in the EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentor nursing staff, and uphold high standards of patient service and safety.
