Location: Remote

Job Title: Remote Pediatric ProFee Coder

Number of Positions: 3

Start Date: June

Duration/Job Type: Contract long term

Schedule/Hours/Flexibility: 40 hours Monday- Friday

Case Mix/Info:

  • Specialties include: critical care (procedures and surgeries), hematology/oncology (procedures and E&Ms), neonatology (procedures), ophthalmology (procedures), otolaryngology (procedures and surgeries), psychology (procedures), allergy/immunology (E&Ms and allergy testing), neurology (E&Ms), pulmonary (E&Ms), urology (E&Ms), cardiology (procedures)

Productivity: 16-18 charts/hour

  • Coders are expected to verify levels as well as diagnosis and any modifier issues. Most of the time, the providers populate the levels; however, the coders will periodically need to level the charge.

Systems Used: Epic/3M

Technical Info: Reliable computer, high-speed internet, dual screens, etc.

This is a FT opportunity.

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting (trauma/teaching experience preferred)
  • Active coding credentials through AHIMA or AAPC

Pay Rate: Starting at $31.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
