Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a qualified Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver virtual OT services to PK12 students across Connecticut. The role emphasizes promoting independence and success in academic, social, and daily living skills via teletherapy.

Minimum requirements include a Master’s in OT, CT license or eligibility, and extensive experience in school-based and telehealth settings, with a caseload of up to 60 students. Knowledge of CT IEPs and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Connecticut OT license or eligibility to obtain and maintain licensure.
• 5+ years of experience managing OT caseloads in school-based and clinical settings.
• 2.5+ years of telehealth OT experience.
• Experience with PK12 caseloads of up to 60 students.
• Experience with CT school-based documentation and IEPs.
• Knowledge of CT school-based OT practices and teletherapy service delivery.
• Familiarity with CT special education regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality virtual OT services to PK12 students across Connecticut.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide OT recommendations and progress updates.
• Support academic performance, motor development, sensory processing, and ADLs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, compliant documentation per district and state requirements.
• Deliver teletherapy services using evidence-based practices and virtual tools.
