ProCare Therapy seeks a qualified Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver virtual OT services to PK12 students across Connecticut. The role emphasizes promoting independence and success in academic, social, and daily living skills via teletherapy.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual occupational therapy services for PK12 students across Connecticut. This position supports students by promoting independence and success in academic, social, and daily living skills through evidence-based therapeutic interventions delivered via teletherapy.
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Connecticut Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain and maintain Connecticut licensure, as required.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing occupational therapy caseloads in both school-based and clinical settings.
At least 2.5 years of experience providing occupational therapy services through telehealth.
Experience managing PK12 caseloads of up to 60 students.

Proficient in administering and interpreting the following assessments:
BOT-2 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition)

Beery VMI
PDMS-2 (Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, Second Edition)
Experience with Connecticut school-based special education documentation and service requirements, including documentation related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Experience using electronic systems for documentation, service tracking, and maintaining student records.
Strong knowledge of Connecticut school-based occupational therapy practices and teletherapy service delivery.
Strong understanding of special education regulations and requirements applicable to Connecticut public schools.
Provide high-quality virtual occupational therapy services to PK12 students throughout Connecticut.
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, school administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute occupational therapy recommendations, goals, progress updates, and other required documentation.

Play and leisure skills
Social participation
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Functional independence
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with district, Connecticut, and applicable federal requirements.
Communicate regularly with school teams and families regarding student progress and occupational therapy needs.
Deliver effective teletherapy services using evidence-based practices and appropriate virtual tools and strategies.
