Job summary

Electronic Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our remote team serving PreK-12 students in Virginia. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, goal-driven therapy plans, and teletherapy services to support developmental and educational outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an OT license, NBCOT certification, and experience in school or pediatric settings. This remote position offers flexible caseload management and opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated team

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the practicing state.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in K-12/student virtual settings preferred.
• School or pediatric OT experience.
• Proficient with pediatric assessment tools and OT techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
• Solid problem solving, attention to detail, and computer skills (email/MS Teams).
• Experience in teletherapy.
• Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and handwriting without tears preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to address needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide consultation to teachers and school staff on strategies for participation and success in class.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
