Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an Epileptologist – EEG Night Reader for a remote part-time role. You will interpret routine, ambulatory, long-term video EEGs and manage epilepsy patients during night shifts as part of a dedicated pediatric neurology team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Child Neurology with subspecialty training in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Medical License

Responsibilities

• Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEG studies, including routine EEG and long-term video EEG.
• Night shift focus: EEG interpretation and clinical management of pediatric epilepsy patients.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, nursing, and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to program development, education, and research initiatives.
