Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated individual to perform routine video EEG recordings while ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic program. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Candidates must be able to work FT nights and be available to work weekends and holidays. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered, and an opportunity for professional growth through ongoing education initiatives.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic program or proof of one year structured EEG training.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must be registered within 2 years of hire if not at hire.

Job Description

We are offering a $1500 sign on bonus for this position.Position Description:Performs high quality routine, portable, and long term video EEG recordings. Records, reviews, annotates and organizes surface and intracranial raw EEG data. Understands and applies knowledge of EEG to provide excellent patient care and customer service to patients and families. Maintains diagnostic equipment. Participates in quality and continuing education initiatives. Works with department management as appropriate to ensure attainment of department goals and objectives.FT-Nights12 hour shifts7 a.m.-7:30 p.m.Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnositc program or currently enrolled or proof of one (1) year on the job structured EEG training. If employee does not have registration at time of hire, then registration will be required within 2 years of hire. Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills required. Healthcare provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
