Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics or related patient care field.
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of recent experience in epilepsy long‑term monitoring.
• Knowledge of EEG testing and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EEG tests for patients in the Epilepsy Unit.
• Perform long‑term monitoring using EEG equipment.
• Assist physicians in reading EEG and clinical seizures.
• Maintain daily logs of patient status and report information to co‑workers.
• Compile and forward billing information to the work leader or supervisor.
