Job summary

Equip is hiring a Registered Dietitian to support nutrition care for families in a fully virtual clinic. You will work with the treatment team via telehealth to develop meal plans, monitor progress, and guide families through exposure to challenging foods.

Requirements include residing in Washington State and holding an active WA RD license, a bachelor’s degree, and experience in eating disorders or family-based approaches is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Washington State and hold an active WA RD license.
• Licensed RD; eating disorder experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams.
• Experience on interdisciplinary teams.
• Organized and results-driven.
• Ability to balance business needs and clinical priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in transforming eating patterns through ongoing support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans via telehealth, including meal plans and targets.
• Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to the team and families.
• Echo treatment team directives in interactions with families.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Update treatment plans weekly based on progress.
• Reassess nutritional needs and share recommendations with team and families.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition education to challenge beliefs about food.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with families and maintain boundaries.
• Document thoroughly in Equip's EMR per policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
