Job summary

Kaplan is seeking remote Subject Matter Experts with a PE in Structural Engineering to join our team in updating study materials for the PE Structural exam, with changes taking effect in April 2027. This is a remote 1099 contract opportunity with flexible hours (up to 20 per week). You will revise manuals, quizzes, and courses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with new specifications. Strong English and proactive collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Active PE Certification in Structural Engineering (PE Structural exam)
• Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with content development for engineering exams is preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and update quiz questions in the style of NCEES examinations for the PE Structural exam changes
• Revise and edit review manual or course content to align with new specifications
• Collaborate with the team to keep materials current and comprehensive for April 2027 changes
• Contribute to suggested study plans and provide feedback on customer expectations for study materials
• Perform quality assurance and technical reviews of updated content
