Job summary

Kaplan seeks remote Subject Matter Experts with a PE in Structural Engineering to update materials for the PE Structural exam changes set to take effect in April 2027. This 1099 contract role offers flexible hours (up to 20 per week) and nationwide remote work from the USA.

You will review and update quiz questions and revise the review manual/course content to align with new specifications. Strong writing, communication, and deadline discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

Active PE Certification in Structural Engineering (NCEES)
Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
Strong familiarity with PE Structural exam content
Exceptional attention to detail and time management
Prompt communication via email; occasional video meetings during business hours
Proactive in identifying content update areas and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

Review and update quiz questions in the style of NCEES exams for the new PE Structural changes.
Revise and edit the review manual or course content to align with new specifications.
Collaborate with the team to keep materials up-to-date and comprehensive.
Contribute to suggested study plans and provide feedback on customer expectations for prep.
Perform quality assurance and technical reviews of updated content.
