What You'll Do

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of electrical engineering projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical engineering projects from initial planning and design through construction completion.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Direct the design and coordination of:
    • Power distribution systems
    • Lighting and lighting controls
    • Emergency and standby power systems
    • Low-voltage systems coordination
    • Fire alarm systems
    • Energy-efficient and sustainable building solutions
  • Coordinate closely with mechanical, structural, architectural, technology, and construction teams.
  • Review engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents for quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure successful delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and long-term client relationship growth.
  • Participate in construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, field observations, and project meetings.
  • Mentor engineers, designers, and BIM professionals while helping develop the next generation of technical talent.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of electrical engineering experience within the AEC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building electrical systems and construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating projects with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with NEC, energy codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of licensure.
  • Previous experience managing electrical engineering projects.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
