Job summary

Mercor seeks practicing primary care physicians (MD) to review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation for AI systems. You’ll ensure outpatient notes are accurate and clinically sound, while providing structured feedback for product teams.

The role supports remote, part-time engagement (minimum 10 hours/week) with US-based clinicians who write outpatient notes and are fluent in English plus one additional language at advanced level.

Qualifications

• MD with 2+ years post-residency and currently practicing PCP/FM/IM
• US-based
• Direct experience writing outpatient notes
• Advanced (C1+) proficiency in at least one additional language (Spanish, Chinese, etc.)
• Minimum availability of 10 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Review outpatient notes, encounter summaries, and EHR documentation for accuracy and clinical soundness
• Evaluate AI-generated notes against PCP standards
• Annotate data per guidelines and flag omissions, inaccuracies, and gaps
• Provide structured feedback for engineering and product teams
• Contribute input on annotation guidelines and documentation standards
