Job summary

Trenton Systems, Inc. seeks an Electrical Design PCB Layout professional to create layout outputs for single boards and backplanes and to help improve quality, delivery, and risk management.

You will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing, utilize Xpedition CAD tools, and ensure offsite work aligns with project timelines. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and on-time product support.

Qualifications

• AS or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of PCB layout experience.
• Familiarity with CAD PCB tools such as Xpedition.
• Able to collaborate with other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create design output documentation (i.e. artwork gerbers, insertion files, etc.) as necessary and review for completeness.
• Support manufacturing with technical issues.
• Provide support to vendors with technical issues.
• Participate in design reviews when needed.
• Support Engineering Manager on special projects.
• Identify improvements in efficiency in processes and improvements in products and services and provide input to continuous improvement team.
• This position is permitted to work offsite with prior manager approval.
• Identify and manage risk in products, processes, and environment.
