Job summary

Actalent is seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join our remote contract team. The role focuses on high-level and block-level diagram to schematic capture using Mentor Xpedition 25.10, with DX Designer and hierarchical designs in a Siemens EDM environment.

You will capture diagrams, publish managed blocks, and export multi-variant BOMs for complex assemblies, often with hundreds of pages. Remote work available, with US-based projects and aerospace domain considerations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Mentor Xpedition 25.10 and DX Designer.
• Experience with block-level diagrams in Mentor Xpedition.
• Strong understanding of PCB and schematic capture processes.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Expertise in electrical design and EDM.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-level and block-level diagrams into schematics using Mentor Xpedition 25.10.
• Work within a corporate Siemens EDM environment.
• Manage and develop designs with over 100 pages in hierarchical format.
• Publish both logical and physical managed blocks.
• Develop and instantiate CES.
• Export multi-variant BOMs.
