Job summary

Actalent is seeking a PCB Designer - DX Designer to translate high-level and block-level diagrams into schematics using Mentor Xpedition 25.10, within a Siemens EDM environment, handling large hierarchical designs.

This contract role offers remote work with an emphasis on complex electrical design, SI/PI practices, and multi-page BOMs; familiarity with CES and instantiations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Mentor Xpedition 25.10 and DX Designer.
• Experience with block-level diagrams in Mentor Xpedition.
• Strong understanding of PCB and schematic capture processes.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Expertise in electrical design and EDM.
• Familiarity with Xpedition, Mentor Graphics, and schematic techniques.
• Ability to handle complex hierarchical designs.
• Experience in CES development and instantiation.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-level and block-level diagrams into schematics using Mentor Xpedition 25.10.
• Work within a corporate Siemens EDM environment.
• Manage and develop designs with over 100 pages in hierarchical format.
• Publish both logical and physical managed blocks.
• Develop and instantiate CES.
• Export multi-variant BOMs.
