Job summary

BPX Logistics is seeking a seasoned PCB Designer to create and document PCBs for embedded hardware used in logistics tech. The role is fully remote with overlap for U.S. business hours and the opportunity to work full-time or part-time.

You will design schematics and layouts, collaborate across teams, and ensure manufacturability and reliability, while handling fabrication outputs and BOMs. Authorized to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional PCB design experience.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad or similar).
• Experience with schematic capture, multilayer layouts, and design rules.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCB layouts for prototype and production hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define electrical, mechanical, and operational requirements.
• Optimize board designs for reliability, manufacturability, cost, and maintainability.
• Prepare and maintain fabrication outputs, BOMs, assembly files, and revision-controlled design docs.
• Support prototype bring-up, lab validation, issue triage, and root-cause analysis for hardware defects.
• Manage component libraries, footprint accuracy, and design standards across active projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manufacturing partners during quoting, prototyping, and production handoff.
• Contribute to engineering best practices for hardware documentation, review cycles, and release readiness.
