Wave is seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst to streamline payroll operations and build the tools that connect payroll to the rest of the business. We're looking for someone who can tackle complex process, data and technical challenges in a high-growth fintech environment, and who knows that every payroll error lands on a real person's payslip.

The Payroll Systems Analyst will report to the HR Systems Lead within the HR Technology team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French with strong written and verbal communication.
• 3+ years in HRIS, payroll operations, or payroll accounting in multi-country setups.
• Experience reconciling payroll to the general ledger and coordinating with HR/Finance.
• Experience with payroll providers and data flows between HRIS, payroll and finance.

Responsibilities

• Define payroll workflows, align global standards while honoring local requirements.
• Own design and delivery of an internal payroll-to-finance reconciliation tool.
• Provide core Payroll Systems support during HRIS go-live and beyond.
• Develop dashboards and reporting, improve data quality, and manage privacy controls.
