Job summary

Wave Mobile Money is seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst to streamline payroll operations and connect payroll to the HRIS and general ledger across entities and countries. You will design processes and build tools that manage multi-country payroll, different statutory and tax regimes, multiple currencies, and varying local requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HRIS, payroll operations, payroll systems or payroll accounting, ideally multi-country.
• Experience reconciling payroll to the general ledger, including employer costs, accruals, and mapping.
• Experience with data flows between HRIS, payroll and finance systems, and with third-party providers.
• Demonstrated ability to document, standardize and improve processes, including controls and sign-offs.
• Advanced knowledge of data management, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Defining and strengthening payroll team processes across markets.
• Building an in-house payroll-to-finance reconciliation tool from requirements through rollout.
• Providing core Payroll Systems support after HRIS go-live and during changes.
• Driving payroll data quality, reporting, and privacy controls.
