Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant to join the Finance Department, supporting the North America Market in a hybrid role (1-2 days on-site). The role emphasizes payroll and benefits accounting, journal entries, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting, while developing internal controls and efficiency through analytical analysis and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Experience with payroll, benefits accounting, and journal entries.
• Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Blackline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close journal entries, including payroll, benefits accounting, deferred compensation, and EPP.
• Partner with the Payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
• Prepare manual intercompany payroll invoices and review monthly payroll variance reports.
• Investigate and analyze variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate existing processes and propose improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
