Placements24 is seeking a highly accurate Payroll Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processes remotely for our client. The role focuses on timely, compliant payroll processing and data integrity in a fully remote setting.

You will handle employee data, statutory deductions, reconciliations to the general ledger, and respond to payroll inquiries while staying current with payroll legislation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of dedicated payroll processing experience.
• Proficiency with South African payroll software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles as they relate to payroll.
