Accendra Health is seeking a Payor Change Coordinator for a fully remote role in the United States. You will support patients, payors, branches, referral sources, and internal teams to maintain uninterrupted care during payor changes.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, ensuring correct payor for services, and resolving billing issues. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• At least one year of medical billing experience.
• Familiarity with payor contractual requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process patient insurance and payor changes accurately and efficiently.
• Verify insurance coverage and payor information by phone and online.
• Obtain verbal or written authorization for medical treatment when needed.
• Ensure correct product and payor are used for services and equipment.
• Research and resolve account issues and billing documentation discrepancies.
• Communicate next steps to patients and coordinate testing as required.
