Job summary

EPAM Systems in Georgia is seeking a hands-on Payments Solution Architect to design complex banking integrations and fintech implementations, bridging banking requirements with cross-functional teams. You will own security and PCI DSS compliance by design, while enabling scalable, secure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

This role blends technical delivery with pre-sales and consulting, including RFP responses, technical proposals, and customer workshops.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in development (Java/.NET) and 5+ years in Solution Architecture.
• Deep knowledge of PCI DSS, Card Schemes, ISO 8583/20022.
• Experience with API integration, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premise hybrid environments.
• Strong leadership and communication with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex banking integrations and API orchestration.
• Lead pre-sales activities and technical workshops.
• Perform architecture audits and remediation reporting.
• Define security architectures with PCI DSS compliance.
• Drive GenAI/ML and Crypto/Digital Asset adoption in banking rails.
• Guide development teams through deployment and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Mobile, Web, and Data teams for end-to-end delivery.
