Job summary

Bloomerang is seeking a Risk Analyst to build processes and tools that manage financial and compliance risk for our payments platform. You will monitor transaction patterns, identify risk exposure, and translate insights into concrete tactics to reduce risk.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and CX to educate teams on fraud prevention and to design robust monitoring and reporting. A strong emphasis on research, communication, and independent work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring transaction patterns for risk.
• Knowledge of NACHA and Card Association rules.
• Ability to translate insights into actionable risk strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify trends in fraudulent activity among customers.
• Make recommendations to Senior Leadership on accounts with risk exposure.
• Use analytical tools to prioritize risk alerts by severity.
• Develop risk policies aligned with departmental goals to create value.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and CX to implement fraud best practices.
