Job summary

Heartflowinc is seeking a Market Access Specialist to enhance reimbursement accessibility for our innovative FFRCT Analysis product. This role involves building strategic partnerships and working closely with payers to improve access for patients.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of managed care experience, a BS degree, and exceptional negotiation skills. You'll be pivotal in implementing reimbursement strategies and ensuring favorable coverage with commercial payers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of healthcare/managed care and reimbursement industry experience.
• Solid understanding of coverage, coding, payment, and reimbursement requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with payers to reach positive coverage determinations.
• Coach physicians in nuances of reimbursement advocacy.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with regional payers.

Skills

Experience closing commercial payers for coverage decisions

Understanding of coverage, coding, payment, and reimbursement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders

Experience working in the field supporting sales team

Education

BS required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
