Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare/managed-care and reimbursement industry.
• Experience in negotiating contracted rates for medical devices or diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage strategic relationships with payers.
• Maintain knowledge of reimbursement rules and regulations.
• Lead discussions with payers for coverage determinations.
• Negotiate contracts with managed-care plans and insurance companies.

Skills

Closing commercial payers for coverage decisions

Understanding of payer environment and reimbursement policies

Experience developing physician advocates

Excellent communication skills

Education
