Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Payer Relations Account Executive to drive new business growth within payer networks and strengthen CVS Pharmacy’s position with PBMs, health plans, and Medicaid programs.

You will build compelling business cases, manage a cross-functional pipeline, and support contract negotiations, with travel up to 20% and a focus on delivering measurable value to customers and the business, while collaborating with sales, analytics, contracting and strategy teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales, business development, account management or healthcare contracting.
• Proven ability to source, negotiate and close new business agreements.
• Experience building data-driven business cases for stakeholders.
• Knowledge of payer relationships and healthcare networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advance new business opportunities with payers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline with forecasting and progress tracking.
• Develop and present business cases aligning service and network design.
• Partner with internal teams to evaluate markets and support negotiations.
• Facilitate transitions to account management post-close and support reviews.
