Job summary

CareTalk Health is a fully remote, nationwide virtual medical practice seeking a Patient Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for patients in our virtual clinic. You will contact scheduled patients, confirm readiness for visits, and coordinate handoffs to the care team to ensure smooth, timely care delivery.

This full-time remote position offers Monday–Friday 9am–6pm EST hours, with an hourly rate of $17.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
• Strong digital fluency and comfort with navigating multiple platforms (Zoom, Teams, EHR/CRM tools).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain calm in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care team routing and ensure patients connect with the right clinician at the right time.
• Perform pre-visit intake and verify patient identity and readiness for visits.
• Handle inbound inquiries about visits, scheduling, or technical navigation.
• Document outreach and handoffs in the designated systems and keep clinical staff informed.
